Just got back from Sicily and still having mixed feelings about the visit. The island is of course full of ancient and medieval history but unfortunately our group missed most of it!  I definately want to back there again but not with “work”. The above view of a Romano Greek amphitheatre above Naxos was perfect, in the distance Mt Etna obliged by puffing out black smoke. Perfect, apart from the fact that I had just dropped and smashed my phone screen and then I got called to deal with one spoilt brat from our group. Bring back corporal punishment before it’s too late!*

Anyhow, we are safely landed and a week of hobby related activity can begin……..
