Well thank God the first week of 2016 is over. During our New Year getaway ( above) , I was asked to put the following in order; work, partner, friends and hobby. Alarmingly die Fuhrer answered for me; friends first, hobby second, wife third and job last! This week has got me looking at my priorities with two very good friends both suffering severe illness. Work has been an absolute pain and the hobby has had to take a back seat and then this afternoon, the following…..

Without any prompting from me, sons one and two put their consoles down and got their dad’s toys out on the lounge carpet. After they had been told off and sent upstairs for their impudence, I thought back to how we all got into this hobby, epic battles with toy soldiers. 2016 has got to be a return to this spirit. Godendag in two weeks, games switched to Tuesday’s and Friday’s, Skirmish in March and Salute in April- What could be finer?
