Yes I know I promised I would lead you on a path of financial proberty in 2017, but these were ordered in 2016 so technically don’t count……and neither do next month’s fallshirmjaeger….and once you have bought the Red Baron you simply must have three Gothic command bases for LADG…..and then a man in a bar has a spare saker that he’ll paint for next to nothing…….it would be silly not to….my thanks to the very talented David Sheppard!

My painting for February will be posted when I finally finish my xxxxxxx zouaves! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s ground breaking news from the Berkley Vale Rural wargames collective featuring a 2017 rundown of furze collecting and wargaming events. Don’t forget to tune in to Facebook : Firestorm games historical tendency for the latest Welsh flavoured events..

A quiet night at Firestorm Games

I’d say these excellent Gothic command bases are worth breaking your New Year’s pledge.
And really, who could expect a wargamer/collector to keep such an impossible pledge to begin with 😉

Hah, I’m sure there were already other “necessary” acquisitions made that are in violation of the pledge 😉

The crew of the Saker gun looks great as well!

Oh, the Perry’s will finally release their new Zulu War Beitish Infantry boxe at Salute.
Been waiting on those for almost a year now.

I’m sure there will be other releases or sales going on during Salute that will diminish our savings.
This hobby is like a heavily addictive drug 😦

‘Financial proberty’ be damned, I say, when it comes to buying more nice miniatures and such. The fine fellow with the banner in the fourth picture has the right idea about such talk. 🙂

Excellent and well done! How can we be top generals if we aren’t constantly adding to our forces? 🙂
