I blame Mark Fry for what follows. In he comes with several thousand pounds worth of mounted knight miniatures. “Why don’t you dismount your Knights”, sneered the elfin Andy D’unwin? “Cos, I ain’t got none” was my poor reposte. But I did, twenty years ago I’ d bought a load whilst passing through Burton. Who knows if Spirit Games still sells Essex miniatures from a three storey showroom? Who knows if Burton still exists? They aren’t as pretty as Mr. Frys but they were completed over Christmas and I like them…….
