One of the West’s greatest living brush men must be the diminutive Brummie lothario himself Mr. Mark Clarke. We are indeed honoured to be privy to his latest collection of miniature marvels. It’s quite an eclectic collection, everything from flaming pigs to Goths but that takes nothing away from the tiny miniature factory from the Midlands.

The dragon and lunch!
My personal favourite from this year: First Corps Successor elephant

There follows Mark’s blue period and his New Kingdom Egyptians. Mark himself takes up the story;

“I always felt a slight antipathy to Egyptians ever since a man called Ahmed built a carpet warehouse on our local council allotments but when I looked deeper into history I learnt that not all Egyptians came from Dudley….”

As sexy as Fayed senior
As fast as Dodi’s driver…
Skirmishers as slippery as a Harrods legal team.

Mark continued the theme with his beautiful Gothic collection. Mark continued;

“ I had thought that these would be all white faced and black clothed an’ that. I couldn’t be bothered to paint black nail varnish until the expert on all things Dark Age, Adrian Garnett, said, “ No our Mark, that’s not true…….”

Wise words indeed from the sage.

What colour and detail!

We humbly thank Mark for this snapshot of his latest work. He really does live up to his title of a true gentleman of wargaming. We love his work and hope to see him very soon.
