Well if Vladimir Putin can rattle on about his year for hours then so can I…..

Happy Christmas!

December

The year ends and bang! Literally bang! A car slams into the back of my wife when she is driving home. My wife is shaken but the car is a right off!

Thankfully a Morrissey tribute band was playing to raise our spirits!
Yeeha! Trump is back!
New project: Cowpens: basing by To the Strongest, rules by Commands and Colors Tricorn.
Vae Victus boardgame will provide table details.
Chalons mega game on 30th December; welcome home Giac!

November

The best TV of 2024! Monday evenings have been so good! God I love Dune!
The big question of 2025; will cardboard replace lead?

October

Wouldn’t be good to start rebasing my Royalist horse?
To be finished by Christmas! Now where have I heard that before!?
Why glue and paint models when you can buy diecasts! Answers on a postcard? Maybe they are a little on the large side!?
American civil war is back in a big way. Commands and colors for scenarios: 28mm for Battle Cry and 18s for big battles!

August

SAGA made a welcome return. Always a good laugh but not everyone was convinced at club?
Finally the Norman cavalry wing nears completion!

July

Club numbers reach sixty!
I finally decided that 150mm wide bases are the future for all 28s! I don’t think I can ever face rebasing again!
Everything is going on big bases!!!

Actual hand to hand combat on the train home from work! The piece of human waste below decided that he and his fat friend were going to terrorise the railway carriage!

Fat boy threatens to kill everyone in the carriage. I beg to differ and twelve “ men” on the train stay sat down and hope it wasn’t happening!
Legalise firearms! Kyle Rittenhouse was right!

Third place in Canalrat dba competition. DBA remains a great laugh!

What a twelve months! Let’s hope we have seen last of the bad news. If you have had a bad year then please keep your hopes up. We maybe surrounded by darkness but there are points of light in the heavens.

Thank you all for your support over the last year and to Dice Studz, near and far, I wish you a safe and prosperous 2025!
