With tongue firmly in cheek, Babylonbee have uncovered our deepest desires! Go and read the article, you won’t be disappointed! Come back to this site for plans to make these most manly ideas a reality! This weekend, the first ever game of “Imperia et Colores”will be played, a subtle combination of all previous rulesets and you are invited to aid its development.
“According to the research, men spend several hours each day considering what room they could put a map in, where to get the best stick, and how to initially arrange his soldiers. “Most often, when a man is quiet at dinner, he is considering how best to protect the flanks of his little model army,” explained Dopslauf. “When you see him rearranging the food on his plate with a fork, it is but a glimmer of the greatest passion of his soul: to arrange miniature army men on a continental map with a stick.”
How right they are! Some questions that we can answer right now;
#1 Will Imperia et Colores use miniatures?
Not necessarily! The emphasis is on accessibility. One can play with cards, Wofun flats or miniatures.
#2 What size table do I need?
The initial games have utilised hex printed mats and boards. Suspiciously, the standard game is played on a 13 hex by 11 hex area. The hexes can either be 100mm or 150mm across the widest point.

#3 Will there be tons of charts and tables!?
Absolutely not! We need speed and that means dice with symbols!
#4 Do I need to rebase my figure collection?
Absolutely not! Any scale or basing convention is fine so long as the models fit within the confines of the hexagon. This includes the ability to use 15mm and 28mm on the smaller or larger battlefield!
#5 When will this be ready??? It sounds absolutely amazing!
February game sees launch of World War Two variant; entitled “Dice Stud Leader”.

“At publishing time, the researchers had announced that the cure to male loneliness was, in fact, getting together with the boys each week to push legions around with a long stick.”
