August has begun! The new me awaits. The starting blocks are set and a rigorous new regime has begun!
Once I was through my ( our) wedding anniversary it was time to watch the pennies. A budget was in order, that most demanding of things.
The parcel dropped through the post box with a resounding crash! Well not really, metaphorically speaking it crash landed. Footsore miniatures had a sale on and I was actually saving money ( in the long term😳). It wasn’t much of an argument I give you.
How “we” laughed! I was just preparing 15mm Vikings for To the Strongest and next to them are my SAGA Vikings. The new shipload were 28mm Vikings for Midgard/ TtS! Besides they are giants and wouldn’t fit with all the previous rash purchases.
These were Bickley sculpts and I love them! I decided to set a thirty pound limit per month on new metal. Phew: budget in rude health: sort of…

“ Finish projects!” I kept saying to myself! Nevermind Khurasan miniatures new 28mm Avars, finish the old armies first!
So I’d past the test! I had a budget and August remains the month for reorganisation. I’ll be posting pictures of finished armies as they come off the production line so please be kind or else share your strategy to diminish that pile of opportunity?
