“Michael pushed through the doorway. There, in front of him, was a pile of parcels. He immediately knew what to do, hurriedly lifting the parcel from Spain and secreting it in the garden room away from prying eyes….”

“ Michael felt the trepidation. This was too good to consume in one go. Gingerly, Michael removed the sellotape from the top of the box…..

“Charlie( ahem), I mean Michael dared to peer inside. The scene that greeted him was beyond compare…“

“ There, glinting from under the drab brown paper was true gold; Onus by Draco- ideas. Michael gasped, could it really be true that there was enough cards to play six factions without lifting a paintbrush? Michael threatened Grandfather with social services if he didn’t get out of the way and remove his culturally inappropriate statue from the bed…

“ Yes, it was true! He was a winner! Just days after ordering the Spanish elves had delivered on their promise. A golden ticket indeed- a golden ticket that promised endless hours of fun this Christmas.

Michael spread out the cards and inhaled. Ah the smell of new cardboard pieces! Join us as we actually play with the game over Yuletide!

I’ve already got my eye on playing To the Strongest with the cards. They provide so many for such a reasonable price, with a dice tower and battle mat all to add to the experience! A game that plays like a miniatures game, with none of the preparation or painting. Can it be true?

I still can’t get to the bottom of what “ Onus” actually means in either Latin nor Spanish! I do know that the quality is excellent and it’s made my day and maybe my Christmas!
Michael
