A new high point in the wargames year with a car load of toy soldier enthusiasts heading off to Newark. Sid, Michael and Steve made up the team. Partizan may not have the trade support as some Southern shows but the display games are amazing. Laney stocked up on Rapid Fire merch, Steve exhausted the supply of On Bloody Ground tomes and Sid went for terrain in abundance. I bought a breakfast bap and a marked down ploughman’s from the Coop! My own dire financial situation exempted, it was a day that showed the hobby at its best. I’d better start saving up for Devizes in July!

The venue is massive and airy when the doors were all opened!
